The Auxiliary Condensate Overflow Safety Switch, is designed to detect clogged condensate drain lines and interrupt the thermostat circuit to shut off the unit before flooding occurs.
The compact design of the ACS-5 allows for ease of installation in the auxiliary outlet of the primary drain pan when space is limited.
The switch can also be configured to activate an audible and/or visual alarm circuitry.
The ACS-5 comes complete with a Schedule 40 PVC 3/4" × 1" elbow that accepts a 3/4" male adaptor or drain line
3/4" MNPT × 3/4" slip adaptor for use with female threaded pan outlets, and a switch/holder assembly that can easily be removed for inspection and maintenance.
