The Aprilaire Model 500 Whole-House Humidifier:
Installed in either your living area or central heating and cooling system ductwork
Comes equipped with a drain to flush minerals from the unit
Has an evaporation capacity of 0.50 gallons per hour
Humidifies tightly-constructed homes up to 3,000 square feet in size
550 requires 6 inch round pipe to connect to the return air or supply air.
The Model 500 bypass humidifier is an economical proven performer in the extensive line of Aprilaire Humidifiers.
For some homes, a manual control may be recommended. The Aprilaire digital control can be used in manual mode while still providing vital service, temperature and relative humidity indicators
